MICE is used to refer to a particular type of tourism in which small / large groups planned usually well in advance are brought together for some particular purpose. This includes;
MEETING
an assembly or conference of persons for a specific purpose at an agreed or designated place or time.
INCENTIVE
Incentive in terms of tourism is usually undertaken as a type of employee reward by a company or institution for targets met or exceeded, or a job well done. Unlike the other types of MICE tourism, incentive tourism is usually conducted purely for entertainment, rather than professional or educational purposes.
CONFERENCE
a pre-arranged meeting for consultation or exchange of information or discussion among participants who have an agreed topic, especially one with a formal agenda.
EXHIBITION
a public showing - as of works of art, objects of manufacture, product display, etc. |
